Access Restrictions to IPSLA Monitors

Jump to solution

Is it possible to restrict user access to specific IPSLA monitors through either Custom Properties or by some other means?

If we were to use this module I would need to create user restrictions for our customers in the same or similiar way as to how I do with Custom Properties in NPM & APM and need to know if this will be possible.

Thanks in advance for any responses!

Hi Byron,

There is no way to limit access to specific operations, other than what the normal node-based limitations allow.

In other words, if a user has access to a node, he/she should be able to see all operations sourced from this node.

If not, operations on this node will not be visible.

guys

has there been any movement on this yet?

also, with the node restrictions, are we absolutely sure that if a customer were to play with the URL, they would not be able to see other operations sourced on nodes from other customers?

cheers

dan
