Virtual Desktop Monitoring

Is there anyway to monitor the cpu usage of a process on a virtual desktop without making that desktop a managed node or eating up SAM licences?

No unfortunately not. We will provide visibility and insight as to what the hypervisor supports, without requiring node based licenses, but to get the depth of data that is visible from the guest OS, you would be utilizing our polling techniques that would require it to be a managed node.
