Hi there,
We're currently running old VMAN version and going to upgrade to the latest one. Is there Linux installation package? Is there any repo and is it possible to use something like apt-get? Or maybe it's possible to download something like VM image with Linux and VMAN, like it was some years ago? Or currently only Windows installer is available?
Thanks. I would appreciate any advice.

Hello @MichaelUA
As far as i understand you do not need a VMAN appliance anymore (which use to run on CentOS earlier) - SolarWinds states that you need to shutdown your VMAN appliance and move your VMAN module onto Orion platform.
With VMAN 8.0 and later, the VMAN appliance is no longer required, and as of VMAN 2020.2.1, the appliance has reached end of life and is no longer supported. Before upgrading, you need to retire your VMAN appliance.
Retire the appliance: Retire the appliance and move fully over to VMAN in the Orion Platform. You'll be able to use the latest features included in newer versions of VMAN, and you'll no longer need to maintain a separate appliance.
The above statement clearly states that it runs on Windows only and on your Orion servers, VMAN is not a separate appliance anymore.
Below links will help you with the details, but then i would suggest you to raise a case with SolarWinds to proceed further:

Hello @vinay.by,
Yes, you're absolutely correct - what we need to do is to shutdown our old VMAN and to move it to Orion platform.
So there's no Linux-based Orion platform at all, Windows platform is the only one that exists on Earth. Is that correct?
Thanks.
Yup, its all Windows based @MichaelUA
@vinay.by, thank you so much. Have good Christmas holidays and happy New Year.
