VM Monitor for HyperV

Hi All

New to Solarwinds

Just installed Solarwinds VM Monitor for HyperV and after putting in my connection settings and click "test conncetion" I get "Successfully connected to server". However when I click dashboard I get this error:

WMI failure error occurred. Please check log for details.

So the questions are:

1) How do iI fix this?

2) Where are the logs location?

I'm running HyperV 2012 R2 Core (non GUI/non role version).

Thank you!

I found the logs under C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\VM Monitor for Hyper-V

When I got the same error "WMI Failure occured.  Please check log for details." my log showed the following repeated over and over:

2016-06-16 16:25:29,414 [1] ERROR SolarWinds.FreeTools.Logging.Logger - Invalid class

System.Management.ManagementException: Invalid class

   at System.Management.ManagementException.ThrowWithExtendedInfo(ManagementStatus errorCode)

   at System.Management.ManagementObjectCollection.ManagementObjectEnumerator.MoveNext()

   at HyperVLib.HyperVServer.GetMachines()

   at HyperVLib.HyperVMonitor.GetResult(Int32 failCount)
