Security Event Log does not audit for successes

I believe there is no other work around. I had to convince the customer to enable this in order to get the information.

Any ideas on how to handle the log scrolling caused by all the successful logins?  What did you say to convince your customer?

It really depends on each customer's requirement. In case if they want to see the login information they have to allow enabling the logs. Try explaining this feature like what information it does take samples from Orion demo portal. Whoever sees the portal and reports they will definitely agree to enable the logons. The information is very helpful once you enable!!
