I have a few alerts setup that will send out emails to a team when the specific service goes down. One I have for IIS monitoring all our IIS servers. Yesterday a website may have went down or just had a small problem but we received about 362 emails from that one blip in less than a minute! it happened again at 2:30am for our SQL alert monitor and got hundreds of emails for that monitor as well. Granted They are trigger alerts and then Reset emails but WAY too many. How about 1 for and alert and 1 for the reset. What did I do wrong here.
