Case #448518 - "Feature Request: Disable Java update popups"
I've noticed that in your Java updates you include the following in the installing command:
/s "JAVAUPDATE=0 AgreeToLicense=YES"
While the silent install and license agreement lines seem to work, the disabling of java's update fails. Many Many users complain every update cycle that they get the orange java update icon, and can't do anything with it (no admin rights).
Through command line installation, or registry editing after the fact, can you include a working "disable java update" in your java update packages?
This would save countless user complaints while you guys develop, and we test the package after Java has released an update.
