We had an instance where someone changed a custom property on an interface so an alert did not trigger and notify the correct people when the interface went down. We would like to have a new auditing action type created that will log an event in the AuditingEvents table when and interface is edited so we can go back and train a person/ talk to them to correct the issue so it doesn't happen again. This would also let us know if it was a person or perhaps an upgrade accidently changed a custom property on a interface.
This feature is available when nodes are edited just not Interfaces. number 29 is the node editing event id I would like to have that same function on and interface edit.
