We have to do some implementations of Solarwinds on a network. We want to deploy NPM, NTA, VNQM, NTA and WHD.
IN this scenario we only know that the network is in eight cities, we have not any other information about network.
So what are the professional steps that we can take for gathering network related information before above implementations or
you can say that how much knowledge is necessary about network.
For example
Do we need whole network diagrams, how many devices their version,operating system, interfaces and their IPs for all the network?
How much depth is needed for collecting network information and what is the easiest and professional way for getting that information from a client.
Kindly give best solution and in little detail so i can easily understand it.
