I would grab a guide like this one below and just run with it. Your current versions are good (I believe we were on the same ones when we originally did the SNOW integration testing with Solarwinds). You will need to work with your Service Now team since they have to get some kind of plugin on their side to communicate with Solarwinds.
Thank you for the reply! I know that, Integration with Service Now plugins are available in SNOW download. But I am looking with API Integration with service now. Could you please guide me here. what are the advantage and limitation if I will go with API?.
There is default integration available between Solarwinds and SNOW which is mentioned above by jdjones1992
There is also another way which is from ServiceNow end... this directly connects with Solarwinds over Rest API pull method...
Have a look at this
Configure event collection from SolarWinds
We are using this approach for 2 customers... The advantage of this method is that you can write custom event rules in SNOW based on your requirement...The only disadvantage for this method i see is, all the entries that come in events table in SNOW are by default pulled in SNOW...but this wont affect much, as you would be writing rules in SNOW convert alerts to an actual ticket...
We used the API with our integration as well. I wrote a post yesterday about our experience that provides some of what we learned. Integrating Monitoring Tools into ServiceNow Through Event Management
