Good afternoon,
I'm monitoring some parameters for SQL Server, and I'm using the component "SQL Server User Experience Monitor".
The template/component works well and brings me the expected result.
However, when I create an alert, there is no variable that I can select which shows the Instance Name and the Initial Catalog Name that I'm using on the component.
This information is extremely important to be set on the alert, as the DBA will know which instance and database is affected.
As I have many Servers / Instances / DB, I'm using an Application Template and, as the "parent" template has default named components, I can't rename the component name on the applied host.
Any clues/suggestions?
