FTP Voyager - File Move within a directory(folder)

Jump to solution

Using FTP Voyager, I would like to move files that enter into a directory using a scheduled task.  The problem i have is that when scheduling the task I have an option to either move the entire directory or move a specific file.  Is there a way to have the task simply look for files of .pdf format and move those (no matter the name of file) to a local folder?

Thanks,

David

A wildcard should work.  Something like c:\<you directory>\*.pdf.  I am curious what you are using to do the file move in the first place though?

Thanks.  I eventually figured it out.

This is my first time setting up an FTP client and I had never used FTP Voyager.  I was trying out a product called Smart FTP but it didn't like the wildcard.  I'm sure there were some scripting I could have used but I need it to be as GU interfaced as possible.

Anyway, thank you for you help.
