Having a local speed vault has many benefits, but one mayor flaw: Currently it needs as much space as the online backup uses or it becomes useless. It would be quite useful if one could set a different retention period for the local speed vault, in combination with periodic (synthetic) full backups to keep consistency on the local speed vault.
TL; DR:
- a local retention period independent from the online retention period
- periodic (synthetic) full backups only to the local storage to keep consistency
