When a device fails to monitor correctly, the web interface sometimes provides a meaningful error message and sometimes not. In the case when it does not, currently we need to login to the SAM application server and start digging through log directories. When looking at the logs we will see combined messages for (ie APM logs) for all feature level logs and then need to scroll through to find the particular issue which is a very cumbersome process and it also requires junior level admins and app admins from being able to troubleshoot monitoring without giving them elevated access to the SAM server directly.
Specific feature functionality
1) Upon polling error product a debug log link
2) Upon clicking on the error a new dialog appears with filtered errors for the specific node
3) Allow for a search file within this dialog to further filter down excessively chatty logs.
