Ability to Disable Thresholds for AppInsight Components

Whats happens when all 200 SQL servers are monitored?

Again, SQL AppInsight inflexibility is painfully apparent in multiple posts on Thwack, and a complete rewrite of the entire 'product' is needed allowing granular overrides, like SCOM.

The Events issue you are referring to is likely a bug that was very recently identified and tracked internally under FB357428. I would ask your support rep to verify if this is indeed the same issue. If it is not, then we need to dig in and determine what the cause of the issue is, because this should not be occurring.

I have removed the thresholds, it now says <not set> but I still get critical and warning events.  I need to remove the events and rely on my alerts only...

I am only monitoring 12 SQL servers so far and 50% of my events are appinsight related driving the NOC crazy.  Whats happens when all 75 SQL servers are monitored?

I opened case #708810 with a suggestion to create or comment/vote a feature request.

Yes, but we can't change the thresholds on all components.  The Powershell Script components for example, have as many thresholds as there are script outputs but we have no way to edit that in the template.  I did find the view in the database for them though, so work around for the time being.
