Currently running Serv-U 18.104.22.168 on Windows Server 2016 Datacenter. We had a recent need to begin using the web client. We purchased a SSL certificate and plugged that into the Encryption tab. When navigating to the web client, the certificate is valid. Green lock at the top of the screen, everything is working great.
One of our users found that when using FTP Voyager JV, it returned a certificate not valid error. I tested and was able to replicate this error. The details say the Certificate Authority that issued the certificate is not trusted. I would understand if I were to have created a self-signed cert, however this came from a major SA.
I am sort of at a loss as to why this is occurring. Perhaps there is a step or something silly that I missed during configuration, but it is working fine for the web client. Anyone able to shed some light as to why this is happening and maybe next steps please?
