I will give you an example to understand it better.
A few days ago, I defined new local shares. Later, I renounced for some of them and now the informations displayed are not accordingly updated.
I mean, I have the old shares also and some of shares twice displayed ( with the last and current date )
I mention that I've restarted the STM and the Windows agent after the local shares were redefined.
In a normal situation, the eliminated shares, now should not appear at all.

The given example is for a small implementation of STM.
What if there is a need to manage dozens of Local and Remote shares?
I mean STM must monitor hundreds, maybe thousands of disks, LUNs and this is the case for another implementation in my firm.
