Alert on disk failure

I have NPM, SAM and STM but I am unable to setup an alert for disk failure in a SAN or ESXi host even through the SAN is configured through SRM and the hosts are connected via a VC that is visible in the dashboard.

I can see this but I need to setup an alert if a disk fails (Email to a specific address)
