We use a lot of Riverbed WAN accelerators, as all our inter-site traffic passes through these devices events from the logs can give a good view of the whole WAN. I've raised a support call (Case # 468009) for this and supplied a sample system log, there are also user logs from these devices. They produce regular syslog output but at present its detected as a WatchGuard firewall.
