In Build > Rules, I know there are a lot of built-in Actions to choose from, but I was wondering if it is possible to call/run either a Windows CMD command or (ideally) a PowerShell script?

This is not currently a feature supported (we take actions for you that run like a script, but don't allow you to run your own scripts), but you can vote on the feature request here:

Thanks for the info. Two quick comments though -
1) the feature request you mentioned (and I voted for) is dated 2012 ....so, probably not likely this is a high priority item for SolarWinds.
2) a comment from another user on that feature request mentioned a work-around but no details. Are you aware of such a work-around for running scripts from a Response Action?
