Error with Directory Service

Hi all,

Not sure what I'm missing here, but for the life of me I can't get SEM to connect to AD using the Directory Service Query Tool! The config needed seems to be simple enough, and I've read through the SEM user guide. Error I'm getting back is 'Directory Service associated with the domain is unresponsive' Below is the info I'm entering.

Alias: Directory Service Query Tool

Domain Name: FQDN of local domain controller (lowercase)

Directory Service Server: IP of local domain controller

Username: domain name/NT username

Password: password of above account

Encryption: No SSL

Custom Port:

Test Domain Name: FQDN of local DC

Would anyone be able to point out what I'm doing wrong? Thanks

are you able to query active directory in sem legacy flash console?

In fact my objectif is to Configure directory service groups in SEM.
