HI,

Please let me know,How an we detect attacks from CISCO ASA Firewall using LEM.I have read about various ASA SIDs being logged as syslog messages by cisco firewall upon which cisco recommend some action.What is the best practice be utilized to detect attacks intrusions from Cisco ASA firewall using lem.

If you have a list of SIDs from Cisco, it seems like creating rules to alert off those events in LEM would be fairly simple.

Can you expand on this please ? I would like to know how to deal with the SIDs list that you refer to.

You mentioned the list in the OP? If you have SIDs that matter, you could import them into a User Defined Group and then refer to that UDG as part of filters and rules.
