Currently we use spreadsheets to track warranty information for servers, routers, server applications, etc. This requires scanning on a regular basis to check that nothing has gone out of warranty. It would be great if there was a feature to add a warranty expiration date to a node or application along with details of the support ID and phone number. You could then have a Green/Yellow/Red icon beside the warranty. Green if it's in warranty, Yellow if less than 30 days remaining, and Red if the warranty has expired.

I think this would tie in nicely with the Hardware Health Monitoring in SAM. If an item of hardware had an issue, you could see the warranty status and have the information right there to call in support from the vendor.
