JSON/SOAP Monitoring

Recently more application services are beginning to support web services for monitoring application health and performance. SAM should support monitoring of these standard web services like SOAP and JSON interfaces similar to how WMI, Windows Performance Counters, etc. are monitorable today in SAM.

We need to decide which product should check web services like SOAP or JSON. WPM or SAM? Normally this job belongs to synthetic user transaction tools. Here is the same feature request (idea) from WPM…

I vote for this one too. We are using Manage Engine since SolarWinds SAM does not have this option.

This will get you close. You'll have to look up the Base64Encode.
