I need to set up monitoring for a daily backup job on an FTP server. My goal is to set up a SAM application to verify when a file is successfully copied to a designated destination folder. The filename is different each time, but maintains a specific naming format. I'm torn between using an Event log monitor OR using a file change monitor. I'm leaning toward the event log monitor because the file change monitor requires that the checksum be recalculated in order for the component to be reset to an "UP" status, which requires manual intervention.
