What are important components or services to monitor on a Web Server?

We are currently only monitoring HTTP up/down status on our web servers. What are some other Applications or services that you are monitoring on your web servers?

Depends; what platform is your web server?
SAM has templates for Apache, IIS and some of the other players. I haven't seen one for Nginx yet though.
