WMI ports for monitoring

Hi all, think I probably already know the answer to this, but going to throw it out there anyhow...

SAM WMI Requirements
Microsoft Windows by default uses a random port between 1024 and 65535 for WMI communications. You must create firewall exceptions to
allow TCP/UDP traffic on ports 1024 - 65535 or the component monitors and templates that use WMI will not work.

Has anyone investigated the possibility of being able to lock down ports in respect to the above? Or at least narrow down the range in which these are used ? Asking purely in respect to having Firewall rules in place ...

Thanks in advance for any thoughts/feedback on this.
