Virtual Machines and Pages/sec + page file usage accuracy ??

Okay forget the fried chicken but I knew that would draw a crowd.

I was wondering on the accuracy of the statistics collected on virtual machines in regards to pages/sec, page file usage, etc.  We are running SAM 5.0.1.

Is the data presented accurate since all the VMs have to share physical resources with the host and other VMs? Is it somewhat skewed because of the fact that several virtual clients are sharing the same physical resource? I'm mainly concerned about performance counters like page file usage, pages/sec, memory utilization, etc.   Does Solarwinds take into consideration that it is a VM and makes adjustments based on reports from the host ?

Yes, we are also testing Virtualization Manager and SAM 5.2 emoticons_happy.png
