Unable to connect to agent

Hey everybody,

first of all i'm new in Solarwinds and my knowledge isn't the best.

In our infrastructure we have 2 servers where the connection to the installed agent isn't possible. 

After a short research what happen, i found this warning message in the windows event-log. 

"SolarWinds Agent with Device ID [...] was disconnected from [...].

 

A manuell restart of the agent service couldn't fix the problem. The last thing i want to do, is to reinstall the agent.

Maybe someone had the same problem and have a solution for me.

Thank you @sreenathmp for your possible help.

The problem was a firewallchange, where the rule for port 17790 was forgotten to copy.

At the first moment nobody was thinking that the firewall could block us the connection, because it worked before

Have you checked in Manage Agents (Settings -> All Settings) page if any error is showing there.
