Specific time periods reports

Hi, I created an application template to monitor several Windows services. This services are planned to stop automatically five hours a day during night time, so what I need is to exclude this period of the calculations of the availability for this app, whether in the app template when it is monitoring or directly in the report of availability for this app.

It's possible to create a availability report of specifics time periods?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Specific time periods reports

I think the most efficient way to address this would be to use the unmanage scheduler utility on the main orion server to just stop polling the device during the maintenance window.

You can make reports that are filtered to specific time ranges but then it would be filtering all the applications in the report the same way which could become a mess.

Re: Specific time periods reports

Thanks mesverrum for the quick answer I'll try the unmanage scheduler utility to see if it fits.

Regarding the reports, besides that you think is not a good idea, Could you please tell me how can I filter in the reports by a timeframe?

Thanks again.

Thanks again. Sorry, but are you Marc Netterfield? Is that your signature at the end of the post?

So, this feature is not available yet on the SAM platform?

Re: Specific time periods reports

Hello Marc, Is there any way to create a SQL query requesting for servers availability on specific time periods? This is because I need to create a report in PowerBI with this information. I've already created the query but I need to give the availability of the servers in certain time periods.

Thanks

Re: Specific time periods reports

Assuming you are already joined to the response time history table just filter where datetime > @starttime and datetime < @endtime or however the syntax is in power bi for calling that user variables.

Re: Specific time periods reports

The problem with the Datetime field of the view DailyNodeAvailability is that the time of the field is always on '00:00:00'

So you can filter by day, but you cannot filter by time.

Thanks.
