Solarwind SAM

We have large environment with SAM SLX licenses, Do we require to install SAM in APE also or it is sufficient to install SAM on main server where other modules (NPM,NCM etc) are installed.

you can install on same server where other plugins are installed provided you meet the hardware requirement for main poller and DB....
please check the documentation once...

Hi Aashu, So all modules need to initially be installed on the Primary Polling Engine (Main Server), and then when you install the APE the installer will detect which modules you have running on your Primary Polling Engine and replicate them on the APE.
After that, it's up to you if you distribute the polling to that additional server. You could just shift network nodes, or nodes from a particular region or environment, you are free to choose the criteria.
