Solaris 10 Monitoring

We have a nearly exclusive Solaris 10 data center.  I have tried using the Linux/UNIX scripts provided with APM to get some more metrics from my servers, but the grand majority of them fail.

Most of the servers are using the full install of Solaris 10, and with but a few exceptions are unmodified from that, at least from an OS point of view.

I have been told that I can get the stock unix scrips to work if I recompile/upgrade net-snmp, but I am really tring to avoid that.

Any advice?
