Service Monitoring - Service Starting Alert

I was wondering if anyone knew a way to send an alert if a service starts instead of stops. We have a few services on some servers which cause issues if they start and even though they are disabled some updates from vendors require them to start so they start and are supposed to shut down again, however sometimes during the patching they do not shut down which causes conflict with other apps on the server.

I need to monitor a service to see when it changes to the start state and alert when it starts, however the current monitoring of windows services seems to only alert when they stop. Has anyone else ever had this issue or know a way to monitor a Windows service to alert when it starts? Thanks in advance.
