SQL 2012 Parallel data warehouse

_lHas any one on the Thwack community setup SolarWinds monitoring with the SQL PDW?

1. did you pull data direct from the PDW with SQL queries?

2. did you have the information copies to another SQL instance and then pull event data from the standalone SQL instance?

I am looking for anything you may have learned during your monitoring setup.
