I was hoping to get some opinions from others in regards to the SAM hardware events that are generated when a server is either rebooted or briefly unavailable. Since hardware monitoring was introduced, we have seen a massive influx of events stating that hardware components are UP after a server is rebooted or loses connectivity for a moment. This has been a problem for us because the flood of UP events pushes all of our other legitimate events off of the edge of the screen. As a result, I'm forced to constantly clear all of these events out manually several times each day. It's important to note that we do NOT have any alerts configured that generate these events. They are automatically generated within SAM and therefore I've found no way to make them stop. 99% of these events are completely useless.
I submitted a feature request and was told that this issue was addressed, but it was not. Does anyone else have any suggestions on how to resolve this?
