Orion Agent reconnecting issue

Since we have upgraded to NPM 12.5 we have had a problem with agent reconnecting after a poller is rebooted. The only way to get the agent reconnected to the pollers is to restart the agent service.  This is affecting both Windows and Linux agernts. It does seem to be random, but some systems reoccur more often than others, but we have not been able to establish any patterns.  There are around 5 to 10% of the agents affected each time the pollers are rebooted. We are working with Solarwinds on the issue, but no solution has been identified yet.

I was wondering if any else has seen an issue like this.

I have one polling engine out of nine for which No agents will work properly other than up/down status after 2020.2 upgrade.Most are reporting "Upgrade in progress". One suggestion was to reboot all of the servers, which is not an option for Production.

Same here. Users are shying away from using the agent because of this.

Ditto. Started in 12.5, occuring in 2019.4 as well. We are evaluating fully moving to agents and this spooked us. We'd rather not create 1000's of scheduled tasks to check and bring online. To busy w other stuff to dig into it at the moment.

Take a very long time for agent to reconnect to poller, we have 4000 agents so far
