Can anyone tell me if muting a node also mutes all the SAM templates applied to the node? And UnP? It seems like an easy question to test for but, I seem to get mixed results. During our patching cycle for example, we mute nodes in large groups like SQL servers vs. Domain Controllers. Inevitably we still get some alerts on the SAM components of the SQL template like a job failure. If that's just a bug or a glitch, I can work with support to pass that info up to development. I just want a definitive answer on what my expectation should be.
