Monitoring Java via SNMP

I currently have a windows node that is being monitored by WMI. Would also like to monitor the java component running on that same server. But it appears I have to change the entire node to SNMP monitoring in order to do this?

Is there any way to keep the node as WMI but set only the java component / template to use SNMP? I don't want to lose any of the additional Windows type info that WMI provides.

There is not at this time. This is currently an outstanding feature request you can vote on at the link below. ‌ I would recommend instead of converting the node to SNMP that you instead monitor the Java…

I would recommend instead of converting the node to SNMP that you instead monitor the Java Application Server via JMX and not SNMP.
