IIS Applications

Try clicking on the "Microsoft IIS" link and it'll open the application page.  Then click "Edit Application Monitor".  Then click on the "Configure Server" button.  This should make sure WinRM is configured correctly to allow SAM to talk to it to pull the additional information.  The reason some are green is because they're standard windows monitors for services and logs.

Have you verified WinRM is running? Have you verified that the firewall ports are open so your SolarWinds server can connect?

WinRm is running. I might have to double check on the firewall side especially the local one.

I had a similar error until I clicked the CONFIGURE SERVER button:

I think it all depends on the flow of how the monitor was added. If you started with a brand new device that was not in SAM or NPM, the wizard and documentation looks different:

Configure AppInsight for IIS on nodes

But once it's added to either NPM or SAM, if you go to add AppInsight,for IIS, you may see what I show above.

Hi there! It can definitely look different between the two ways you can add it: wizard vs manual. If it would help to have a screenshot of those differences in the help/admin guide, I can get that in next update.
