I am monitoring a server via SNMP and ping via ICMP.
Server is showing up and all metrics are reporting and status icon is green. All different metrics are displaying.
If I do "List Resource" there will be no resources fetched. We opened a case with support and found that due to incorrect community string list resource was unable to fetch data (Case #1052958).
Now, question is: How can I report or alert if any of the node monitored via SNMP has a change in SNMP community string or if SNMP Service is not running? We need to be cognizant of such scenarios.
