How to configure Windows PowerShell Monitor's execution mode to use "Remote Host"?

Jump to solution

I know our windows boxes have WinRM 2.0 or above so I am using default port number 5985.

What I am confused about is "Use HTTPS Protocol:" and "URL prefix:"

When I test with the default values, monitor fails with down status.

Has anyone configured this so it worked?

The PowerShell script I am testing works fine on local host (poller) and I am just trying to run it on remote server now.

Hello, 300. We've been working to improve the PowerShell information in the SAM documentation. Please check out Use PowerShell in SAM in the SAM Administrator Guide. It includes a section about enabling remote access for PowerShell with WinRM.

If you still have questions, try searching in our Success Center. You can also open a Support case -- see Working with Support for tips.
