Getting Hardware polling failed: ProviderModule is Disabled Scope

Hi All,

For few of my devices where we need Hardware monitoring to be functioning, I am getting the below error and the status remains as un-defined..

Hardware polling failed: ProviderModule is Disabled Scope

So any clue as to why this is happening?

NOte: Most if these are IBM servers..,

These error codes are showing up:
0x80041013
0x80004005
0x80070005
I checked all the access for the account being used for WMI polling, everything is given but still no luck in making this work....

Well this turned out to be WMI issue..i got the WMI service restarted for 1 server and I could see the hardware polling normal and all in green...

sory ignore the above post...I m still facing this issue....
Getting 0x80004005 error still for many servers...any suggestions?

I have the same issue, but on Dell servers. It was suggested to me to install Dell OpenManage Essentials so that WMI had something to grab from. I imagine trying this with IBM's equivalent could help.

i dont quite remember what was done to resolve and i dont have access to that instance now..
But i guess it will be a problem with the agent on server. Maybe re-installing the agent could resolve it...
