Exchange ActiveSync component difference

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between Exchange Active Sync Connectivity Template and Activesync: Requests/sec under Exchange CAS role template.

Are both same or do they have difference. Is it good to have both services enabled for monitoring?? I am having Exchange 2010
