Clean up trend data for volume growth

Hi everyone,

We have in the last 12 months migrated a lot of servers from an old VMWare environment to a new one, and as part of that we've set up solarwinds to monitor the new hosting environment. We set up around 100 nodes. As we migrated data on to the nodes, the volume sizes on a lot of these servers have spiked significantly, which is affecting the trend data. For example a lot of the volume trend graphs look like this:

As you can see, we've migrated a lot of data all at once in September when we moved from our old infrastructure to the new infrastructure. The trend is alerting us, saying that we've got less than 3 weeks until the volume runs out of space, but that's obviously not the case. Can I prune off the data before the data was moved?

Thanks

Gareth

You can certainly delete some of the older data through database queries or by utilizing some of the SDK e.g. Re: Deleting Volumes with SDK
