Citrix Number of Current Users Logged In

Our Citrix XenApp 6.0 Presentation Server template includes..

NUMBER OF ACTIVE SESSIONS

This component monitor returns the number of currently active connections to the Citrix server.

NUMBER OF DISCONNECTED SESSIONS

This component monitor returns the number of currently disconnected connections to the Citrix server.

Is it possible to determine the name of the connected users?

Oddly enough, not within SAM. You can however gather this information via SNMP using the Universal Device Poller in NPM with the following OID.

     I am getting a "The OID is not supported" error when testing this in Universal Device Poller, have you seen that issue before? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

You should do a MIB walk of that device to ensure the Citrix MIBs are loaded. Citrix allows SNMP to be enabled/disabled through the Citrix management console. This feature however is only available for XenApp Platinum, Gold, and Enterprise.

Not at this time out-of-the-box, though this information could be retrieved using SAM's script monitors. Information like this is something we would consider as part of .
