Checkpoint Firewall serial numbers and Software Version

hi all,

this is my first post here, so please be gentle.

within our installation, in SolarWinds, I want to see the version of software or software image we a particular appliance is running and I would like to be able to report on the Serial number of the device. currently, i cannot see either of these Pieces of information. But I can not see why not.

Has anyone got any experience with this?

Any help will be much appreciated

You need to wait till it polls the device and updates the Database or you can force it to poll right away by clicking on the "Poll Now" button on the Node Summary Page. I have tested it on Check point…

I was able to pull the info by creating a custom poller attached

Thanks for that work!
Still new to custom pollers, I've imported it into my local pollers and turned it on for a Checkpoint firewall, but I do not see the software version field populating. Anything else I need to do for this to work?

I have tested it on Check point 2205, 12600, 13500, 15400, 3100, 4800, and 1470. What Appliance are you trying to poll the information from?

No, you are right, I did not wait long enough. It took a while, but eventually populated.
I was testing it on a single node and even though I clicked "Poll Now", it still took a good 30 minutes for the information to appear. Thanks for the response!
