All my labor has failed so far. I can't seem to grasp the logic that Solarwinds wants when trying to run, what I would classify as, simple reports (I know it's me, not you... 
). My current high profile task is to run a report that will tell us what servers are running Tomcat. I've tried reporting on Component, Application & even Service name. Nothing has worked. So how is everyone reporting on applications or service successfully?
