APM is not an upgrade to AM.  It's a new product, so you can actually run APM and AM together.  When you're ready to remove AM, you can go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall it from there.

 What is reflected as the last DB sync? Is the time you uninstalled the AM? If you have any custom web configs. you might want to back them up, otherwise to delete that tab you can go to

In C:\InetPub\SolarWinds
Locate any instances of a AM module folder and delete it. Rerun the website portion of Config.Wiz and that should clear out the extraneous tab. (Assuming you do not wish to run both apps.)

I already had uninstalled using Add/Remove programs--it did not stop the Application Monitor from functioning or remove it from the website.

I removed the AM folder and reran the website ortion of Config.Wiz.  The tab is still there.

Also APM tab now fails with:

Can't.  Went back and ran the Config.Wizard again and that cleared that part of the problem.

Now APM seems fine.  Application Monitor tab is still there, though it brings up a blank Application Issues screen.

 Delete this entire directory C:\Inetpub\SolarWinds- and then run the Conf. Wiz

 (note: If you have a highly customized website please backup any customizations/configs. etc..prior to deleting the inetpub dir)

Are you still having this problem? Removing or renaming the "AppMon" folder in "\InetPub\SolarWinds\Orion", removed the old Application Monitor tab for me.
