What We Are Working On For UDT After 3.0

After the release of UDT 3.0 and 3.0.1, we have been working on some fixes and also planning the content of the next release. During this time, we would like to give you the possibility to vote on the ideas we are exploring:

    It's been 1 year and 5 months since UDT 3.0 released.

  • According the the Customer Portal page, UDT v3.0.2 was posted on Nov 29, 2013.  And yet, the heading of this WWWO page has not yet been updated.  However, the heading on this section has not been updated since Sept 20, 2013 -- that is almost 2 months before UDT v3.0.2 was posted.  What's more, it's been over 3 months already and there are no clues as to what SW developers are working on regarding UDT work after v3.0.2 was posted.

    So, SW product managers..., please setup reminders to yourselves to post updates on the WWWO pages shortly after each release is posted.  And, by shortly, I do not mean 3+ months.  It is not fun for us, your faithful customers, to constantly remind about lack of updates on UDT and other SW products. And, needless to say, it does not look good on the SW PM's either.  After all, we're sort of part of your sales team, as we work hard to persuade our boses to keep investing in SW products.  We believe in SW products, but lack of timely updates does not help, as you'll agree.

  • Err-Disable, port speed and duplex settings, PoE status (power in use), agree more than two enhancements??

  • Is there any recent updates to what you are working on?


  • I am in agreement also. I think anything with the top votes should be included in the next release, rather than just two items.
