  • I have a test server that is not production. I was able to upgrade to 2020.2 and the upgrade went smooth. It is simply an fully licensed NPM "server" really a laptop running server 2016 with SQL 2016 on the same server but I only have about 200 nodes on it. The upgrade went fine (no errors)  but I can not get modern dashboards to work. I can create one, but I do not have the option to add a widget at all. The button to drag is not there. So just a blank dashboard with no way to add anything.

Also, after two day for some reason FireFox lost the mega menu ( i have re-run the wizard and it completes fine but does not fix the mega menu). I do have IE on it and it works fine minus it is version 11 and I cant try modern dashboards in that. I found in the admin guide you must have above version 11. Is there a version of FF or Chrome I must be above as well and do I truly have to have a separate SQL server for this scenario. My production have all the requirements but I am holding off due to the large size of our production network.
